Each year, the amount of child and spousal support is indexed. For 2021, the index figure is set at 3%. This means that the alimony applicable as of January 1, 2021 will be increased by 3%.
We keep our clients informed of the indexing rate annually, even after the case is completed. If you are not a client, but would like to be notified annually of the new indexing rate, you can sign up for it at info@willedonker.nl. You will then receive an annual indexing notice by email around November.
