What is privacy law?
Privacy law relates to the protection of personal data and privacy. It includes compliance with laws and regulations in the field of data protection, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This European legislation has been in force since May 2018. The purpose of the GDPR is to protect the privacy of EU citizens and to ensure uniform regulations within the EU.
