Whether that is a partner relationship, family relationship, work relationship or other relationship. In the consultation practice, we like to find a harmonious outcome for both parties. <\/p>

What is the consultation practice?<\/strong><\/h4>

No one wants a bad divorce, but sometimes it happens to you. In the proceedings that follow, there is often no attention for underlying emotions and interests. Also, proceedings do not always end the conflict, they only result in a judgment. And thus only an end to the legal dispute. <\/p>

Things can be different with us, too. We start earlier: in consultation practice, we engage in conversation to avoid a fight. By going to the table together, you have control over the solution. <\/p>

Part of deliberative practice: divorce mediation<\/h6>

If you and your partner are separating and you want to settle the consequences by mutual agreement, you can opt for divorce mediation. This is a process in which the parties involved resolve their dispute themselves with the help of an independent third party: the mediator. The mediator helps you make agreements on matters such as alimony, the division of property and debts, and – if there are minor children – visitation arrangements. <\/p>

Mediation is thus a different method of dispute resolution than taking a case to court. The judge makes a decision based on the positions of the parties; the mediator, on the other hand, looks at the interests behind the positions <\/p>

What can you expect from us?<\/strong><\/h4>

There is no magic wand to eliminate problems. It is hard work, on yourself and on the relationship with the other person.* We are by your side every step of the way.<\/p>

And if you really can’t work it out together, we will still take the legal route – because we are (also) lawyers.<\/p>
