We would like to bring this ruling to your attention. In this case, the court ruled that the husband&#8217;s income was drastically reduced due to the Corona crisis. The man owns his own dry cleaning business and is also gainfully employed in the cleaning industry. As a result of the Corona crisis, the man received a Tozo benefit of \u20ac1,052.32 per month and a TONK benefit of \u20ac408.67 per month. Before the Corona crisis, the man&#8217;s income was more than double. Based on this drop in income, the court grants the husband&#8217;s request to reduce alimony. However, the court does find that as of Jan. 1, 2022, the amount of child support must again be based on the husband&#8217;s former income. Thus, this is a temporary reduction in the amount of child support to be paid.
