Expertise: insolvency law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law.

The cases that cross Cristian’s desk often characterize themselves as legally complex and voluminous. That’s wasted on him. As a lawyer, he knows the substance and, as a former consultant, he has the skills and tools to choose the right approach to achieve the goal. Project-based work is familiar to him, as is teamwork. He approaches every case as a collaboration. First and foremost with the client. But given the size of the files, cooperation in a multidisciplinary team is often required. With colleagues and other advisors, such as accountants, tax specialists, acquisition advisors and notaries.

He who does not dare, he who does not win. He who does not ask, he who does not know. The first is the basis for entrepreneurship and the second is the attitude to know more about the entrepreneur. In other words, ask and listen. What are the customer’s ambitions? What does the customer need? What does he expect from me, now and in five years? That to deliver even more value tomorrow than today.

In my time as a consultant, I have seen and advised a diversity of companies. I benefit greatly from that experience as a lawyer. Not only for being able to understand the client even better, but also by gladly approaching things differently. Valid opinions are not obvious or guiding for me. In kindergarten, I was taught to color within the lines. At my first employer it was all about thinking out of the box. From the latter attitude I like to approach it.”
